Update on my wife's Green Card - all over but the travel

At 11:30PM Monday Phuket time we board our plane to Logan in Boston with a 2 hr layover in Incheon.

She doesn't need an immigrant visa package because the DoS has gone paperless as it says on her visa. She will go through first because of what happened in SEATAC (if you all remember that). I won't go through first and then watch her denied entry because a visa, even a spouse immigrant visa, does not guarantee entry. It's just an invitation to come. Embassy websites say that.

My parents bought us a house for our 10th anniversary. We will in our home outside Pittsburgh around 11:30PM on Tuesday Eastern Time.

99% done with this God damned four year odyssey.

And my parents are very active in the Lawrence County Democratic Party, so the Democrats are waiting for me to arrive too.

Area during the late 1950’s before moving to Ohio. They loved the area and the people. New castle is an older town that has lost nearly half their population in the last 80 years, but is still a nice community. I hope you enjoy it there!

Edited to add: New Wilmington is about ten miles north of New Castle.

I'm really glad to hear you're on your way home, AZLD4Candidate. (For some reason, I thought you were already here. )

I'm really happy for you, but too superstitious to relax until we hear you're both really here. Silly, maybe, but I just can't help it.

You just might win the DU Perseverance Award (if there is such a thing)! Hopefully it will all be worthwhile in the end.

I waited like 3 hours for my wife to clear immigration in 2013 in Miami. Keep in mind she couldn't use her phone while at immigration,.or in line.

Ironically, Priceline had booked us in Trump Doral in one of those blind Priceline deals (I wanted 5 star for her first night in America) from back in the day.

No bedbugs fortunately and the steak was actually good... We still laugh about it.
