These new protests are calling for new elections. To what end? A different policy? Or a politically disinfected continuation of the current right wing policy?

Now that answer isn't valid because it wasn't after 10/7 and the size of the protest wasn't large enough? I would assume that Israelis at this moment in time have other issues that are on their minds - like the return of hostages.

How many Palestinian demonstrators have spoken out against the Hamas atrocities of 10/7?
How many have spoken out to end this miserable war by returning the hostages and actually agreeing to a cease fire? Pro Palestinian demonstrators are shouting slogans that call for the eradication of Israel and all Jewish people.

Netanyahu was being protested against by the tens of thousands in Israel -he was being charged with corruption.

Again - higher standards for Israel than any other country.
Most of the people here who support Israel have also condemned the West Bank settlers.
