Hamas' military capability--minus 4 brigades--is destroyed and their ideology only has 70-75% approval (for 10/7) among the civilian population.

Instead of the Nazi-extermination strategy we've gone with the 2014 "sanctions will get Russia out of Crimea, just wait for it" strategy.
