Religionist claim their freedoms are under attack, I say BULLSHIT. Religious groups are attacking women's freedom to abortion, Queer groups of every stripe, peoples right to vote, people of color, etc.
These BASTARDS are even trying to impose a white religion on all people including non believers. America was founded as a secular nation. Do I as an atheist have equal protection from religion? My rights and similar minded people's rights are under attack.

(12,537 posts)Sorry, but "religion" does not equal Christianity. "Religion" covers a whole range of beliefs from Animist to Zoroastrian. While we technically do have freedom of religion in the US, it is rapidly being taken over by Evangelicals and hard-right Catholics.

Such an addiction is the last degradation of a free and moral agent. If I could not go to heaven but with a party, I would not go there at all."
