Biden Ad Goes For The Gut: This Is Trump's Fault

Biden's new ad on abortion reveals horror of 'letting the states decide'.

By Kerry Eleveld — April 10, 2024

Within hours of Donald Trump’s clumsy, lie-filled attempt to blunt the issue of abortion by saying he would let states decide its legality, the Biden-Harris campaign released a new 60-second ad revealing the tragedies unleashed by Republican abortion bans across the country.

The ad, which first aired Monday on MSNBC, centers on a couple in Austin, Texas. Josh and Amanda Zurawski were eagerly awaiting the birth of a baby girl when Amanda's water broke early, at just 18 weeks of pregnancy, and she had a miscarriage.

The ad shows the couple sifting through keepsakes they collected in anticipation of their baby daughter—like the outfit they planned to bring her home from the hospital in—as text relays the horror of their story.

And let's not forget who put people on the bench to enable this also............... Mitch McConnell and his "republican " gang..........

The ad wasn't made with the cult in mind. It's to serve as a reminder to the base and swing voters what's at stake. It's to make sure they get riled up enough to get to the polls.

One of the most valuable skills a nurse can have is the ability to communicate in a way that the person you are speaking with can understand. If you are talking with a patient, a doctor, a child, someone whose mother tongue is different, or a hospital administrator, you might as well be speaking gibberish if you use the incorrect words or tone. Ironically Trump, even with his indigestible word salad, is effective in communicating with his audience using culturally accepted dog whistles and memes. Unfortunately the effectiveness of communication is not correlated with the truth of the information.

It is not just TRUMP, it is the entire fucking Republican Party and Republican Voters......

I remember well the days when abortion was illegal. The girls in the middle class or lower class had to go to a back room somewhere.
The upper class wealthy girls would go to an OB-Gyn and get a D & C, or suddenly do a "Study Abroad" in a Scandinavian Country.....

or can read at all.

I think many people would be so wrapped up in watching her, that they'd miss the fact that because Trump's SCOTUS ended Roe v Wade the hospital sent her home without appropriate care, and that's why she ended up with sepsis (which they didn't clarify is a massive infection) and now might not be able to have any more children.

Apr 2024

1. In the lower right corner of any YouTube video, find the gear wheel.
2. It is to the right of the CC and the left of the word YouTube.
3. The gear may have a little red box HD on the gear at the one o'clock position.
4. Click on the gear to open it.
5. Click on the Playback Speed
6. Click the > sign at the end of the line.
7. See the numbers 0.75, 0.5, and 0.25.
Click on one and try 0.5 first, which will slow the video to half-speed.
8. Try to see if it is slow enough. Adjust as needed.
9. IMPORTANT: set it back to normal when done.
Otherwise, it will slow all the following YouTube videos you watch.

10. If you fail to set it back, just set it back to Normal on the next YouTube video you watch.

BOOKMARK this page so you can find it again if needed.

This ad requires watchers to not get too distracted by the beautiful, sad couple, and to be able to quickly read and understand the
written message below them. This is way too much for the average Fox viewer, who is no doubt conditioned to ignore text on
a page below an engaging video (like they ignore drug company warnings given as part of the ad for the drug.)

However, many of these old white guys are married, and presumably such an ad has the potential to reach those women.

Because I would think any woman who overheard this ad from the 'den' or perhaps 'boar's nest,' would edge in a little closer, maybe look into the room and see what was playing. And further, I would think that maybe 90% of women who are exposed to this ad would be pretty furious about it.

See, I'm thinking these Fox watchers are pretty em-bubbled. Hmm, is that a word? Anyway, what about their wives? Where do they get their news? Because if hubby ONLY watches Fox, it means that the spouse is forced to endure that crap too. But...like I say, any woman who looks at this ad will very likely be angry and may be moved to look a little more deeply into what is going on with their bodily autonomy and who is behind them losing their rights.

They won't know what "sepsis" means, they're not used to reading long sentences, and the written words whip by too quickly.

IOW, the text is competing for attention with the sad couple, and the sad couple wlll win.

Justice matters.

Wed Apr 10, 2024, 02:34 PM
Apr 2024

Many viewers get up from their couch and walk to the kitchen during commercial breaks so they have no idea what it's about.

A "dramatic" voice over must repeat "This is Donald Trump's fault. Let's elect Democratic candidates to make women's Right to their own healthcare decisions the Law of the land once and for all" or something the like.

Dems from top - bottom of the ballot won't lose any votes from Democrats, a few from Independents and none from Republicans.

They will gain votes from some Democrats who sometimes don't vote, from Independents who do, and Republicans who are fed up with Trump and MAGA.
