Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsA Reuters poll taken April 4 shows Biden ahead 41% to 37%, which is
a 9 point swing in Biden's favor. Now if it was taken April 4, what important event has taken place since then that might increase Biden's lead even more?
I'm sure you guessed immediately that it should be the AZ decision.
But MSNBC doesn't think so. After announcing this 9 point move in Biden's favor very off handedly, they immediately followed with: and this doesn't take into account how trump's court case will affect these numbers. They then went on to spin the court case as very likely good for him.
So, there you go. It's obvious Biden is gaining, but the corporate media is still going to dish out the BFB (bad for Biden) narrative until their last gasp.

Didn't see her today. But the contortions she went through yesterday to defend tRump, likely not bias, but doing the bidding of her masters and trying to defend the indefinsible.

(24,207 posts)The polls have moved towards him and he has the momentum. Of course the media will find some random poll to counter this one, but Biden is ahead and he's making moves in the swing states too.

Greedy bastards gotta gouge.

(18,613 posts)Oddly enough, the April poll didn't poll the 5-way race.
Just Biden 41, Trump 37

(3,384 posts)this leaves 22% unaccounted for. How much of that is RFK Jr.'s? Seems a legit question to be asking, esp. if he's in the high teens.

(24,973 posts)but I am still glad Biden is ahead and think he has momentum.

(90,017 posts)So WE can fight back, and beat them back. And destroy their carefully-laid plans. And trample on their dreams of dominance unquestioned. And kick them straight to the curb. They're gonna get tired and want to go to sleep only to find that we've already short-sheeted their beds and moved a bunch of loud teenagers with rooms full of booming sound systems next door. And several of 'em have electric guitars up full, with dreams of being the new Slash.

(53,544 posts)I watch jansing and some of the others. But I also filter their stupidity out. In most cases I catch just a bit and then switch to something else or what I recorded.
Andrea Mitchell is the worse. I record Deadline White House, Rachel Maddow, and The Last Word. I don't catch the third part of Deadline because I have local news on. As soon as half hour news is over I switch back to last part of Deadline. And catch up on what I missed from Deadline later.
I don't usually miss Rachel's Monday hour. The Last Hour I catch up the next day because it past my bedtime.

(22,586 posts)On Monday nights, it's Jen Psaki, Rachel, and Lawrence. Tuesday through Friday, it's Chris Hayes, Alex Wagner, and Lawrence. They all tell it like it is, with none of that "both sides" b.s. None of them have ever failed me on that score, and I always learn a lot, too.
I don't pay much attention to the MSNBC daytime lineup, except for Joy Reid. If any of the other folks are peddling bothsiderism, phooey on them. But turning off MSNBC altogether is throwing the baby out with the bathwater. I say enjoy the good stuff (such as the above) and ignore the silly stuff.
senseandsensibility
(24,973 posts)but why does the daytime have to be like that? It's just weird.
ShazzieB
(22,586 posts)It IS weird, and I don't get it. It's not surprising that the cream rises to the top (prime time, in television terms), but MSNBC could definitely do a better job with their daytime programming.

(13,688 posts)President Biden will almost certainly win the national vote but the Electoral College is where the election will be won or lost as we know. Seeing the president ahead in national polls makes us feel good but that's all. I want to see the president leading in individual swing states.
