I live on the West Coast so I have to get up at 6 am to watch the financial carnage as it happens.
Here are the closing figures for Truth Social since it went public. I have not been disappointed:
TH 3/28 $61.96
FR 3/29 holiday
MO 4/1 $48.66
TU 4/2 $51.60
WE 4/3 $48.81
TH 4/4 $46.15
FR 4/5 $40.59
MO 4/8 $37.17
TU 4/9 $37.47
WE 4/10 $34.26
TH 4/11 $32.41
Because it lost $54 million last year and has no strategy for turning that around, I plan to watch it go to zero.

(2,259 posts)In light of everything thats happened since 2015 or so, I find that I feel a pervading sense of peace just clicking over to that site and watching the number drop.
The inevitability of natural justice.
And to whomever posted the price points:
$12.65 - less than one billion market value
$5 - cant pay the fraud bond default
$2.50- cant pay the E Jean Carrol verdict.
Im wazzing big time looking for a final stock price somewhere under a dime. Every penny gets me off. Cheapest thrill Ive ever had!

(7,561 posts)and in two weeks it hasn't quite reached the half way gone mark. If he could he'd have been dumping his stock from day one.
I check the stock price at least once a day hoping to see the foolish investors selling the stock faster than the tickers can keep up.

(114,346 posts)because TFG's fanboys are going to want to get in on the ground floor of such a fine social media platform at a bargain price.
That's probably why it hasn't lost 50^ or more of its IPO price yet.
You know, fools and their money.

(156 posts)He didn't put anything into this. These are the business failings of people who can't stop trusting him, regardless of the continuing evidence that he is not to be trusted. My hope is that those who lose money in this venture will finally wise up and tell others of their kind to stop trusting Trump. That's why I'm so looking forward to seeing the whole thing drop to zero.

(39,875 posts)Chump always gets other people to finance his businesses, and this one is no different. We've learned that Russian oligarchs put up some of the original cash for Truth Social.
When the partners set up the corporation, Chump was "given" a certain number of shares of stock. By the order of the judge (I think it's Judge Engoren) he can't trade or sell those shares for three years. Meanwhile other investors can buy, sell, trade or do whatever they want with their shares. Chump has to sit and watch the value going down, and he can't do anything.
Some of the early investors might have made money in the first week, but anyone who buys the stock now or later on will probably lose their shirts.
