Last night on Faux Snooze, sorry but I wanted to hear what Mike Johnson was going to back the TFG on. Some said they would announce that MTG would be told to back off of Johnson, and TFG mentioned that they all get along great.

But at the 12:02 mark TFG gets a question about Abortion and he goes into how he got rid of Roe V Wade and then says, and I'm paraphrasing, " Democrats are the Radicals when it comes to abortion; They're OK with abortions at 6, 7, 8 months of pregnancy; they had a Democrat Governor in Virginia who says they "execute" live babies at birth!" Democrats execute live babies at birth.

WTF!!! How can he say that? Why cant the SPLC sue the fuck out of him for Liable against the Democratic Citizens of the US?

In due diligence here is the article and link to Democratic Governor Ralph Northam in 2019 on a radio show and exactly what he said.

At the 38:48 mark he gets a question about 3rd trimester abortions. He says first "they are extremely rare." But TFG says we do it every hour of every day. Northam says in those rare occasions the Mother and Physicians discuss if this is due to severe deformities or a non viable fetus, that the baby would be kept comfortable as the Mother and Physicians discuss what to do.

At NO time does he say we kill the baby. Fucking Dump and his fucking lying directly to his bible thumping, knuckle dragging, sister fucking, rubes...and they eat it up like a TV dinner.

Making matters worse, of course, is the fact that Trump’s line is being echoed by his partisan allies. The New Republic noted yesterday, for example:

North Carolina Representative Greg Murphy continued Tuesday to weave the yarn on Fox Business, telling host Maria Bartiromo that Democrats want to kill kids when they’re “coming out of the birth canal.”

The GOP congressman specifically said on the air, “[Abortion is] going to be a big issue every time, because you have folks really on both sides, really probably more Democrat, that want abortion literally when the child is coming out of the birth canal, always to force the issue.”

......But there’s a larger context to all of this. Republicans like Trump and Murphy seriously expect voters to believe that there are women, medical professionals, and Democratic policymakers who “want abortion literally when the child is coming out of the birth canal.” That’s insane. There are no such people.

This, in turn, helps set the stage for a debate over the future of reproductive rights in the United States, with the presumptive GOP nominee and his cohorts apparently convinced they need to peddle outrageous falsehoods, not just to smear their opponents, but also to distract from the fact that most Americans simply don’t agree with the Republican Party’s regressive position.

The problem, in other words, isn’t just that guys like Trump and Murphy are lying. The problem is made worse by the fact that they feel like they need to lie in order to prevent more election defeats.

Fox News host Howard Kurtz pushed back against National Review reporter Caroline Downey after she suggested Democrats were killing babies with their abortion policies.

During a Sunday panel discussion on Fox News, Kurtz told Downey that Democrats were using Arizona's near-total abortion ban as an example of "what you get when you leave it up to the states."

"A court can step in and revive this 1864 law where you can get up to five years in prison if you're a provider," Kurtz explained.....

In an April 8 video released on Truth Social, Trump tried to strike a pragmatic tone for a party that has suffered electoral setbacks over abortion, saying he was proud to have nominated three justices to the U.S. Supreme Court who decided to overturn Roe v. Wade in 2022.

Then he turned the issue back on Democrats, claiming that they were the "radical" party on abortion.

"They support abortion up to and even beyond the ninth month," Trump said. "The concept of having an abortion in the later months, and even execution after birth. And that's exactly what it is. The baby is born, the baby is executed after birth is unacceptable, and almost everyone agrees with that."

Trump claimed that Democrats support abortion measures that result in the "execution" of babies "after birth."

This is grossly inaccurate. Rather than discuss Democratic support for broad abortion access throughout pregnancy, Trump’s inflammatory rhetoric exaggerates by saying the party supports killing an unwanted infant after birth. This would be infanticide and is illegal in every state.

Situations resulting in a fetal death in the third trimester are rare, and involve emergencies such as fetal anomalies or life-threatening medical emergencies affecting the mother. Babies that are delivered are not killed.

We rate this claim False.
