(114,503 posts)3. The attack is in slow-mo, it will take hours for those things to cross
the distance into Israel, they're very slow. While they've claimed to have developed Shahed drones using hobby store jet engines, Those aren't that much faster.
Given the Israeli strike on the Iranian embassy in Damascus, I don't think we've got much to complain about if this is a perfunctory retaliatory strike, even as we hope it fails completely. I see Iran attempting to continue with ithe proxies Hezbollah and the Houthis rather than continuing to fight directly. I hope I'm right, although that's bad enough.
