(2,403 posts)than any Cable News outlet. Their on-the-spot reportage has always been concise, hyper-professional and super-informative. I dont know if its in how they recruit, or train or what, but for breaking events theyre at? Theyre the gold standard journalistically.

(7,700 posts)As much as I criticize cable TV news, I have to give her credit for the job she did. She kept her wits, and just automatically launched into concise, clear and descriptive sentences. There was no speculation, no conjecture, just reporting of what she witnessed without fail or hesitation. It was admirable.
