His view of himself as infallible is what drives him. He still believes that he is going to beat this and then when he emerges victorious, he will rain down vengeance on those who "persecuted" him. I don't think the chance of him fleeing is zero, but it is really, really low. His pathology drives his every waking moment, I strongly doubt he would go "on the lamb" and live in exile. All his accounts frozen, all his assets seized and having to live as a "kept man" subject to someone else's rules? (because he would have to proclaim himself a political refugee and live in a country that wouldn't extradite him.) That last one would gnaw at him mightily, I don't think he could give up the myth that he has built about his superior business acumen.

Trump has run and evaded problems and responsibility all of his adult life.
His father and others always bailed him out.
People cover for him.

He likes being in control and in charge.
He has properties and friends in high places all over the world.

If he thinks he will be going to prison, I think the idea has occurred to him.
Just sitting in a courtroom is horrible for him.

Trump has an animal cunning and the wheels are always turning about how to take
care of himself and get away with his crimes.
