If that happens, there's no record of what they carried, so copying and pasting the text and screenshots, or isolated images if they're available, provide a safeguard against that.

Plus there have been many, many complaints, especially in recent times, about tweets not displaying on some people's systems or their dislike of them per se, so it's a matter of forum etiquette to do as the OP did.

17. It is definitely a threat. To sum up what Trump posted,

he said, in effect, "If you don't give me immunity, I will prosecute Biden." Or, have his goons in Congress try to impeach Biden, which Comer already told Raskin he will do.

However, a little thought on this shows Trump's desperation and folly. If Trump does not get immunity, his trials, even if he's not convicted, will likely cost him the election, so he will not be able to prosecute Biden. He can urge Congress to impeach Biden, but the Senate will not convict.

Furthermore, the idea of complete presidential immunity is ludicrous. If there were such a thing in US law, then there would be no provision for impeachment in the US Constitution.

Presumably it would have been from the pro-Russian political parties that Paul Manifort was working for - Viktor Yanukovych and his ilk. Trump always accuses people of doing what he's doing or done, right? it's Trump's "tell." We have long suspected his getting various benefits from Russia and China, but I think this would be a new avenue for investigative reporters to pursue, yes? A deep dig into what has been revealed about Trump and his corporation's finances crossed with the Paradise, Panama and Pandora papers might bear fruit.

Also, does he really think the Green New Deal has become policy? Call the guys with the straitjackets now! Okay no, wait until after the trials. We wouldn't want him judged mentally incompetent, despite it being true.
