They believe we will figure out a way to coexist with Putty and the handful of other Neoimperialists across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. And they think they've found the strongman who can diktat our way through that.

You just don't seem to get it, the only peace and negotiated settlement Putin wants is a Ukrainian surrender and the disappearance of Ukraine itself.
