(15,909 posts)...and for the US to coexist in a non-democratic world. Like many others with such dreams, they fail to realize that if they get their way many will be on the losing side when the inevitable purges arrive.

(18,181 posts)if Putin isn't stopped in Ukraine, that will put the rest of Europe in danger of more Russian aggression which will require US boots on the ground in Europe...

You just don't seem to get it, the only peace and negotiated settlement Putin wants is a Ukrainian surrender and the disappearance of Ukraine itself.
But please, do carry on with the Kremlin talking points, it's entertaining to read.

Unfortunately some of his former socialist colonies are now NATO members who do not wish to return to their former status. Best not to let that come to a test.
