Trump is not going to make it through this trial

Ive been saying this since last week. He’s an unhealthy old man. And he’s mentally unstable. He’s looking worse every day and it’s just started. He cancelled his NC rally this weekend to rest. Sitting there for hours a day not in control is killing him.

He’s either going to have a real health crisis that will suspend the trial or he’s going to fake one. This is supposed to go on for 6 weeks, no way he makes it through a couple weeks of this. It’s torture for him physically and psychologically. If he’s soiling his diapers daily without changing he’ll get an infection.

The media is starting to pick up on this now too. He looked and moved like a broken man today.

Apr 23

He is not surrounded by his sycophants always building him up.
Bringing him constant snacks and Diet Cokes.

Doing exactly what he wants to do when he wants to do it.
Being in control, telling everyone else what to do every minute of the day.

Other people are in control now. Telling him what to do.
Even when to sit and stand.

He is bored, his usual outlets, TV, golf, rage tweeting, all curtailed.

Not able to do his usual drugs, chase after women.

Having to listen to people talk about him in negative ways.
Listening to people tell the truth about his many crimes.
Facing possible jail.
Embarrassment, humiliation.

This is not rest for someone like Trump.

He's never had to go to work and sit at a desk for 8 hours, with just one break. It can become second nature if you've gotten used to it, but I think most people under-estimate how hard it really is for someone who never had to do it, who never had to develop any kind of self-discipline or patience.

60. Discipline
Wed Apr 24, 2024, 08:05 AM
Apr 24

He has no self or any other kind of discipline. The last time he had an ounce of discippline wsa when he was a teenager and got sent away to military school.

As President, he didn't have the discipline to read national security reports, he made them make them 1 page with pictures and a few key words. This is a man who was born rich, never had to apply himself, had his daddy buy his way into college, and then inherited what would be $12 Billion in real estate from his father when he died. He doesn't read at all. And so his entire adult life has been spent partying and then surrounding hyimself with yes men to help him scam. About the only discipline he's shown as an adult is the discipline to become a master at cheating and stealing from his business partners.

And so he ran for office and became addicted to the adoring fans. He cheated his way into office aeven though he didn't really want the job. But once he was president, he was addicted to the power. Since then he's just crewated this coccoon around himself. All e hears all day long is how great he is. He made it a requirement for people to stand and applaud whenever he enters a room.

For him to be sitting there hearing the worst of his deeds and how most of the world views him is worse than water boarding him. For him to not have any authority in that room is killing him, every minute seems like an hour, every hour an eternity. Trying to fall asleep is an attempt to escape. Now I don't know if he will get convicted, but I do know that sitting in the court day after day for weeks is a little bit of justice for the country as I know he's suffering from it immensly.

father used to call, 'butt-itis.' Your butt just starts to ache and you long to stand and stretch, maybe walk a bit. To sit in a chair for hours at a time without the freedom to stand up and walk around can be real torture.

Now, I think Trump is completely odious and too dangerous to be walking around free, he really is, but I can definitely feel some compassion about the physical discomfort. He bears a huge karmic burden and the weight of it is clearly tearing him apart. It is painful to watch, and it would be a mercy if the trial went quickly so he can rest in a confined space, assuming there will be some incarceration.

But the OP is right. This whole thing is taking a horrible toll on him. Again, it is painful to watch. But karma is taking its terrible course. A lesson for all of us, I think, because we all have faults, and we must fight against becoming a cruel society. We already have become so, but we here at DU can offer hope to the country by not being that way.

I do not feel sorry for Trump because he must go through this. And he really should be locked up for the good of all of us, because I do not think restorative justice can work around his personality disorder.

The person behind all this is Putin. Russia interfered in our election, otherwise Hillary Clinton surely would have won. Trump hurt us badly because he is by nature a divider, and by dividing us, he figures deep down he can come out on top. It worked for too long and too many people died. He was a miserable president, hurt this republic deeply and cannot be allowed near the White House ever again. We must as a society learn this lesson.

We must.

One thing I can guarantee you is that Trump has never spent any time with his grandchildren. Probably doesn't even know their names and certainly has never once picked them up or hugged them.

His daughter was asked about a time when her dad was there for her, all she could come up with is that he called her on the phone when her college roommate committed suicide. That was her one caring moment he showed to his daughter. That's the Trumps for you, their entire lives are about themselves, not a moment of tenderness for anyone, inclkuding their own children.

71. He hasn't had ANYONE tell him what to do or say, nor hold him accountable.

He has skirted the law, bought off everyone, cheated, trashed laws (emoluments? ), plotted to overthrow a legitimate election, you name it, intimidated and relied upon spineless law enforcement officials to let his biggest crimes slide.

Only a few have stood up to his crimes, and for justice.

Now, he has to sit still, STFU for long periods, and feel humiliated for the first time in a situation with real consequences, and vent his rage only in very limited moments, and in proscribed ways.

His Kristian Kamikaze KoolAid army is nowhere to be seen.

The rage must be building like a nuclear volcano.

he'll just shuffle into court every day, whine and rage tweet every night, sleep, snort and fart and rack up gag order violation fines.

Sitting in that chair is no hardship - everyone gets breaks and he lives a privileged life.

My prediction is people will get tired of this trial, his whining, go on to other things and the trial will drag on until it nears the end when people check in again.

Through a dozen viewings of the NABTU political add just shown on Lawrence. That is powerful, with the most evil mug shots of Trump there are.
Outstanding add. Middle Class Power!!

Today is the first day of a full day in court. He’s going to be in court for several hours today instead of just the half days they e been doing so far.

I was wondering if he would last long enough to still be on the ballot for November, or if the Repubs will put on a replacement in time.

a construction site to show the world how much the workers love him despite the union's endorsement of Biden. When asked about Pecker, he only will say "He's a nice guy." Either Pecker has the real goods on Trump locked in a safe or it's a code phrase like "See you next Tuesday."

It's Pecker again, but this time it's all about Karen McDougal and her payoff just before the election to keep quiet.

I was sure, in 2016, that he wouldn't make it through four years of the stresses that come with the Presidency. I was wrong. I thought he wouldn't make it through the stresses of being a loser. Yet here we are.

The goddamned alley cat has nine lives. We'll never be rid of his punk ass.
