I don't know if you said your mom's age in the earlier threads, but I will throw this out there based on my experience with my mom and a good friend of hers who were in their 90s and had falls at the end of their lives: Getting through the surgery is step 1. Rehab afterwards is super important, along with sitting up and moving around as much as she is able. Breathing exercises and good nutrition will help, too. Best wishes for a full recovery!

Not out of the woods yet, but glad to hear they got the job done. Now on to the healing.

If your mom is elderly she may experience some memory challenges from the anesthesia as well as from the stay in the hospital itself. I’ve heard it referred to as hospital dementia. My elderly aunt recently experienced it after a surgery and it lifted after being home in her own environment. My husband who already had some memory issues experienced a severe case. He also returned to his pre-surgery baseline after being home a few days.
All the best!
