I know the MAGA SCOTUS would not have done this, but...

they could have issued a ruling that said we find the actions brought under indictment not to have any claims of Presidential immunity.

Then, they could have done Bush v. Gore and said this ruling is not extended beyond this immediate case.

Thus, preserving their right to rule at a later date on spurious claims of Presidential Immunity.

But, nooooo......

…shouldn’t we settle this question of if a president can pardon him or herself now since if we don’t confer immunity now, it will become the practice of all presidents to simply pardon themselves.

just deal with the f’ing question on the table.
