BUT my TV is turned off for andrea mitchell, katy turd, and chris jansing. They are all a waste of my time and sheer trump propogandists.

(4,598 posts)Not all 4 hours though! I just happen to wake up really early from years of having a 2 hour commute and had to be there at 6 am.
Sure don't miss that! But still wake up at 3.

(12,362 posts)MSNBC I agree is unwatchable with Jansing, Tur and Mitchell. I dont even turn it back on until Nicolle W. Is on.
EDIT: By the way, Thom Hartmann is EXCELLENT following Stephanie Miller. I get his emails too. I sure as hell hope that man lives a long damn time because we need him.
Ms Miller, same.

(96,882 posts)It is an opinion source discussing news that is collected by the entities that people apparently hate.
Personally, I don't need to turn into programs that tell me that what I already think is correct.

(96,882 posts)I watch an hour or two of news in the morning to catch up, and tune in later only if something is breaking.
nb: Both NBC and CNN actually have news bureaues and reporters.

(78,861 posts)as I used to. Still, there are a couple hosts and a number of guests that I think have interesting opinions. I also watch some foreign news sources that focus on reporting.

I just grew tired of hearing "Economy is exceeding all expectations.... bad news for Biden."

(211 posts)for world news is Al Jazeera English, better than the BBC. Don't knock it until you tune in.

(42 posts)They are my daily provider for comprehensive reporting on world news. The editorial views are clearly identified and presented from various political views. The stories are well described by the facts and I receive a broader range of the primary issues through the process of reporting on varying views without yelling.
Calm and informing is what keeps me from yelling at the world.

(15,383 posts)As to Katie Tur, her counter to Pelosi with Trump losing all those jobs - guess what? His utter incompetence in dealing with COVID directly caused that job loss.

(40,476 posts)It's all noise to me. I don't think television is a good medium for news or opinion.
Our television streams movies and other entertaining shows without commercials. It also plays DVDs. That's all it does.

(31,731 posts)I watch Morning Joe in the AM, Anna and Jose, maybe, next and then off. Maybe Wallace, most likely Melber and Reid before going elsewhere...or to bed. You can take just so much of the truth.
