(17,802 posts)They will certainly kick it back down to determine which of the indictment charges are official duties, unofficial duties, and which are hybrids of the two.
The court will likely order some degree of immunity for official duties.
But this fact finding will take a year or more with appeals and clarifications.
So not full immunity, but not full culpability nor a speedy trial.

(7,190 posts)I think it will be Coney-Barrett and Roberts siding with Sotomayor, Kagan and Brown-Jackson and ruling that he's not immune.

(42,409 posts)These election crimes were committed before Chump became president. Even corrupt-as-hell Clarence Thomas has to agree to that. They can't save Chump's ass from this, as much as they'd like to.
