Petitions approved and no Primary opponent. Im part of a reform slate that will be taking on the County Committee leadership (which has been trying to know a lot of Committee and District Leader candidate. Should be fun.

(96,882 posts)Theyre particularly problematic in their endorsement and nomination of judicial candidates, who end up doing favors for the Cimmittee leadership.

(38,111 posts)It's going to be a tough 6 months.
Being a County Committee member gives you a direct touch with the voters. Get a cell phone specifically for constituent services.
Trust me - just do it. And a personal card with your title/role. King County is huge in comparison to Hunterdon - but I still field at least 20 Calls a week around primaries and GE's.
Also - don't forget to have fun. Democrats Get Things Done!

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
