Netanyahu says Israel will keep fighting in Gaza until victory

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the country will continue the war in the Gaza Strip until all objectives have been achieved, and blamed the Palestinian militant group Hamas for stalled negotiations over a temporary ceasefire.

Netanyahu said that Israel has shown flexibility during the negotiations in Cairo, while Hamas was sticking to its "extreme positions, first and foremost the withdrawal of our forces from the Strip, the conclusion of the war and leaving Hamas intact."

rooting for Trump all the while.

And for what? Ending Hamas is a pipedream; Bibi is a one-man recruitment driver for them. Time we figured out how to stop playing this game.

Quotes from the Torah describing the complete destruction of the Amalek people down to infants and livestock.
Does not sound good for any Palestinians in Israel, Gaza, or the West Bank, including those who of mixed Palestinian Muslim/Christian or Muslim/Jewish descent who currently are "official" Israeli citizens.
In fact, it sounds no different than the Arab politicians declaration of the removal of Jews "from the River to the Sea".

I guess total destruction of your enemy, including anyone who can grow up to be your enemy, is a valid definition of a victory.
A dangerously familiar "moral agenda" similar that heard often in 19th century America from which the term "From Little Nits come annoying Ticks" - the justification to wipe out entire tribal groups of indigenous Americans or outsider religious groups, which now seems to be the replacement of "Never Again" this century.

If they don't defeat the last Hamas battalions and have them all either dead or surrendered than the war was pointless they'll just be right back where they were sooner than later

And defeated most of the Hamas Navy which consist of small craft which tried to land terrorists behind the lines

Not sure what your point was you don't have to have a Navy or an Air Force to be in a war.

Did the Taliban have an Air Force or a Navy?

Unless your point was it was stupid of hamas to start a war without a proper military then yes I agree

3 soldiers killed, 11 others hurt in Hamas rocket attack from south Gaza’s Rafah

Troops stationed on border near Kerem Shalom hit by barrage fired from one of terror group’s last strongholds; in response, Israel seals crossing where aid trucks pass through

The security of South Koreans is the U.S. concern. By terms of the negotiated ceasefire North Koreans’ fate lies in others’ hands.

“Israel planning ring of checkpoints to prevent men from fleeing Rafah, source says
Israel is reportedly setting up a 'complex network' of checkpoints to prevent 'military age' men from fleeing Rafah assault, says senior western official”

“The creation of gender-based checkpoints around Rafah would put a spotlight back on Israel's practice of stripping and forcibly detaining male Palestinian men and children, as it faces rising scrutiny in the West of its conduct in the war.”

each seek destruction of the other. So many dying as a result. As always, I agree with Bernie Sanders on this one - continuing to send them weapons makes us complicit. As much as I love Israel, what Bibi is doing is wrong (and he's doing it to save his own career above all - he's not a good person).

Kuschner is going to get his condos along the beaches of Gaza the way this is going.

It is too late for "victory". No matter what the outcome, everyone has already lost. It is just a matter of how much more loss will they have before it stops this time.
