She seems to be better today. I guess things do work in mysterious ways, if you know what I mean? I stayed the night with her and she was struggling a bit with sleep. My sister came up at 6 this morning and I went back home. My sister says mom is doing better than yesterday. I understand some days are better than others, but yesterday.
I want to say thanks to everyone for the kind words and support. This maybe the way it will go for her, highs and lows. Godspeed to each of you all.

My mom was only 70 and died of colon cancer, 30 years ago. It was a slow painful process. It can be exhausting to care somebody, so get plenty of rest yourself.
