Majority of Sinn Fein supporters want border checks between the Republic and Northern Ireland

Poll question :

Do you believe there should be checkpoints at the border with Northern Ireland to limit the number of asylum-seekers coming from the U.K.?

Lol, build that wall !

Sinn Fein twitter threads has been unmercifully attacked by its own base for the last 6 to 12 months for being soft on immigrants, and they hate immigrants so much, they'd happily see a border re-established between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. This is who many Americans are donating to.

The results would have likely been quite different if the ‘to limit the number of asylum seekers’ had been left out.

supporters are also anti immigrant bigots, hence why they have been assailed by their own supporters for the last year, for their "official" pro immigration stance. This poll only confirms that. What one might have expected is low single digits but this is a massive number, and even if it were off by a huge %, it shows how much bigotry they have in their ranks.
