Time Mattered

That is all. It is shameful that Trump hasn't gone on trial yet for his theft of top secret documents, top secret nuclear/military documents.

A huge binder on Russia is still missing.

Shameful and disgusting. Judge Cannon just gave Trump another extension. He should have been arrested when the FBI discovered more documents that he was hiding.

DOJ should have worked with the National Archives from the very beginning and not let the Archives investigate on its own.

The J6 trial and stolen documents trial aren't even in the news anymore, time mattered.

The failure to prosecute Trump for the theft and dissemination of classified documents
is one of the biggest criminal justice system failures of all time.

why the fuck didn't DOJ work with The National Archives from the very beginning?

I was told way back that the NA needed to find out what was missing first which prompted my response that my local library has a better system to know what is missing.

How long was it before DOJ got involved and then once it did get involved it got down on its knees and begged TSF to return all of the stolen documents. Yet there are plenty of people here who still call me a Merrick Garland hater. TSF isn't going to trial because of Merrick Garland's inaction or worse, his complicity. I doubt that Trump's theft of our most secret documents will even be mentioned by the MSM during the campaign, that is insane. Magats control the narrative.

...even the most diehard magats have to be uncomfortable with. I've gotten tired of asking "What if Hillary/Obama had done this?" This won't get buried or forgotten by the majority of voters. Delayed? Probably. There's basic treason - from tsf's intent to his continued lack of cooperation with the Feds. Vlad's 2nd greatest espionage achievement.

The US has been installing other countries' leaders for years. When it happens here...well, making a mockery of democracy is just a side benefit. The continuing tragedy is we can't get the treasonous pos off the national stage. Irreparable damage to American society. And we haven't reached bottom yet.

The damage is still ongoing and incalculable.
May take generations to heal if it can even be healed.

And it didn't cost Putin any Russian lives and was probably not that expensive.

Exactly. The US has been doing the same thing for al long time.
We are so naive to think it could not happen here.

Anyone else would have been in jail for this for many months now. Can you image what would have happened to Obama if they'd found even a few boxes of documents at his residence, in his personal bathroom?

Rule of law is a joke in this county. I'm disgusted that our legal system either can't or won't do anything about this travesty.

7. About Judge Loose Cannon:
Tue May 7, 2024, 08:49 AM
May 2024

I've seen several reports that she took some expensive trips paid for by big Republican donors and did not report them on her financial disclosure forms. When the omission was discovered, she quickly "corrected" the form, she just forgot.

She must be vying for Clarence Thomas' Supreme Court seat.

I don't understand why this is not major news -- no mention of in on MSNBC, CNN, or any of the major networks that I can find. I think there were a couple of DU comments asking the same question.

Maybe Jack Smith will do something?

"American justice" sounds more and more like an oxymoron. The fish rots from the head.

Any serious attempt to fix our system of justice and the political and communication systems that sustain it will have to be very disruptive IMHO.

Ivana Trump’s cremains are interred in a weed-covered, barely marked “grave” adjacent to a hole at TFG’s crappy NJ golf course. Eight pallbearers struggled to carry to the dirt hole a casket containing the incinerated remains of one petite woman (and what’s the point of putting cremains in a casket?).
If you want to find the missing binder of Russian intel, along with the many other missing docs, they should start there.
