The Washington Post reports:

Strategists for both major parties expect Democrats to raise and spend more than Republicans over the coming months, a dynamic that has been magnified by the significant legal costs Trump’s fundraising apparatus has absorbed to defend him in state and federal courts.

The situation has alarmed GOP officials in key states like Arizona, Georgia and Michigan, who have yet to receive promised funding, staff or even briefings on the new plans since the Trump team took control of the Republican National Committee in March.

An earlier party blueprint for a general election build-out has been discarded, party officials say. Plans to open new offices have been scuttled. Hiring has been slowed.

Per the Post, Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA has effectively replaced state-level GOP canvassing efforts.

When the Stinking Nazi took over the GOP, he didn't do it to promote the conservative party. He did it to suck up their funding to pay his bills.

Of course he's not going to give any of that funding to state campaign organizations. He never ran a country wide campaign before. He piggy backed onto the GOP county wide organization when he won last time and when he ran for reelection. And he got a lot of free publicity from the oligarchs.

Now he's just feeding off the GOP funding and has no plans to run a country wide get out the vote campaign.
