I thought about posting in the I/P forum but decided against it. It used to be that the Internet provided abundant helpful information so long as one used discernment. Nowadays I see a deluge of dis/misinformation and feel helpless in my quest to find fact-based, unbiased information about any current event that triggers a lot of passionate disagreement.
Would you please recommend resources re: the history of the creation of Israel, the history Palestine, history of Hamas, Palestinian Authority, etc. ? I've been reading/watching videos for months but then find the source to be questionable as far as having a fact-based perspective. Even educational sources like Britannica could have bias just as most media outlets unfortunately have bias. idk, I'm just confused and would appreciate help.
Maybe separate resources are required for each but I'm hoping there are just a few that cover both the history and current situation from a fact-based perspective. Is it even possible to find such unbiased info on these topics at this point?
TIA
Think. Again.

Tom Segev was a journalist for Haaretz and he is an Israeli historian. He was born in Jerusalem. Some of his works have been controversial because they try to explore some of the myths of Israels creation and Arab reactions, but I have found his books quite readable.
