Barron's 18 now, so TSF can't give her any static about custody. If she tried to leave earlier, he could have waged a nasty custody battle, and probably would have, just because that's the kind of hateful asshole he is.

He can't use child custody as a way to complicate her life, now that the "child" is an autonomous adult. Divorce proceedings in the relatively near future wouldn't surprise me one bit.

As much as I've thought about it, I never considered child custody.

I wouldn't doubt that the two of them have had big arguments over Baron. There's no way Melania would permit TFG's influence on her son. The only way to control it all is to play TFG's little game.
