(130,550 posts)or did she say Trump wants voters to punish Dems for the NY election case? Much as I don't care much for her, I don't think she would say that she wants voters to punish dems.

(179,885 posts)Andrew Weismann was on and the Mueller investigation referred the original Cohen case to them. Tur was asking Andrew as to whether voters would punish Democrats for this trial. I turned the TV off after this.

(319,091 posts)She also was asking earlier if Voters would feel sorry for him.. like she was Pushing the sympathy vote for TSF.
It's like she wants him to win and she'll get Access.

(113,985 posts)has pushed RW memes. Even if she couches it and manages a "too cute by half" approach... Her Ex, Keith Olberman has been commenting on it (and he certainly knows her games).

(130,550 posts)Not a career goal I'd aspire to, but maybe she thinks MSNBC needs a new bothsideser.

(3,841 posts)not paying attention to the trials.....only the economy. This is a telescoped version of what she said.
She sounds like the New York Times pitchbot. Switched to BBC.

(71,542 posts)as well. The sample people deliberately who don't vote or have not voted in some time...claim Biden will lose 40% of black voters and Trump is ahead with women...after Roe...give me a break. That alone tells you something is wrong with their sample. I posted about this and so did another poster.

(Honestly, I watch very little TV news, other than local. I spend plenty of time at DU to stay informed. Plus, cable news isn't about informing anymore.)

(55,522 posts)Michael Steele dared to say the media is giving inconsistent messages and Katy went off, not letting him answer her question as to 'what is the media?', interrupting him in a rapid fire way.
One could say, The lady doth protest too much, methinks. from Shakespeare's Hamlet which is used in modern times to indicate doubt of someone's sincerity, especially regarding the truth of a strong denial.

(3,841 posts)in her manner of interrupting. She asks a question, then interrupts before the answer. The Michael Steele session was particularly obnoxious. Your description of rapid fire was spot on.

(55,522 posts)Evidence coming out today in the cross-examination of Cohen brought her name, along with Chris Cuomo and Maggie Habberman, out as reporters Cohen used to get positive stories out. It isn't a surprise but it does back up why a lot of us see her as a trump defender.

I agree that there are times where he's pleasant and somewhat competent, but his agenda really shows.

(319,091 posts)I don't watch TV but from what I've read about those pundits over the years on DU & twitter.. you've nailed it.
I remember when Hayes was pushing the Liar Tara Reid.. and viewers got mad.. and he blamed the viewers. arrogant.

Meanwhile, the attacks are getting ugly and rather crude. Surely we can do better than this.
