(9,789 posts)To put her down because of a one-sided tweet/email that speaks a lot more to what Cohen was doing to protect Trump is ridiculous. People need to understand that reporting a story doesn't mean being one-sided. Nor does it mean not communicating with a bad person. It was part of her job to talk to Cohen. It was his job to protect Trump at the time. Reporters wouldn't take what Cohen said seriously. The last thing ANY reporter would consider it would be an order. Haberman is a great reporter. Her "Confidence Man" book is an excellent source on his background. Anyone who is interested in and wants to understand how he became what he is today -- and really you should be -- should read it.
