Did you see this NY Times article about the lawlessness in the West Bank?

Here's a gift of paywall-less link. It's lengthy but uses official Israelis accounts for most of its sources. Very disturbing to read the 50 year history of the process.

I think of Israel now as a country run by their version of MAGA. It is not the democratic Israel of the past. It is ruled by right-wing religious beliefs about Jews having a divine right to all the land and by violent Proud-Boy types who have operated with impunity from the Israeli government to murder Palestinians in the West Bank at will.

And this is exactly what we have in store for the US if Trump is elected again.
