One of my neighbors was going door to door giving away marijuana plants

So I'm standing in my yard, chatting with a friend who stopped by because I had some native perennials for her. Up pulls my neighbor from a couple miles down the road in this little Japanese Kei-truck that's not even street legal, but we live in the boonies so whatever.

He asks me how my solar install went, and gives me the number of a friend who does tree removal because one corner of my roof gets afternoon shade. Then he asks if I want a few more plants, since my yard is the one that looks like a jungle. I look in the bed of his truck, and it's filled with little potted plants. I don't recognize them at first, then it hits me. I tell him thanks but it's not my thing. He tells me he was just at my neighbor/coworker's place and he took a few. Then I see a big potted marijuana bush sitting in his passenger seat, seatbelted in for safety 🤣

So he says bye and off he goes, in his little truck, happily taking his pet weed plant for an afternoon drive.

Today my coworker was asking me where in his yard he should plant his pot plants.

Is this the crime-infested hellhole Trump warned us Minnesota would become when he was here last week? 🤣🤣🤣

As long as you were both of legal age (over 21), and he had no more than six plants in his truck (each resident can grow 6 plants, or 12 per household if more than one adult).

The law allows the gifting of up to one ounce of cannabis between adults. You can also gift live plants, but it's a grey area on the plant count or size.

So yeah, Johnny Appleseed strikes again!

But if you want to grow outdoors, there are a few rules. The plants need to be out of sight of roads, other homes, or walkways, and they need to be in a fenced in area with a locking gate.

Loose rules though. You have more to worry about from high school rippers than you do from the police.

13. I know of many epileptics

who no longer have seizures because they use Marijuana, and can lead somewhat normal lives now.............

However, there is one I know, who had done a GREAT job of maintenance in one of the local major school systems for eight years,. Despite having weekly seizures, they school system let him stay on. One day, he was called in and told his drug test showed use of Marijuana, he said yes and hoped they noticed the lack of any seizures since he started using it on the advice of his Medical Doctor.
He pointed out that it was legal now in Colorado. They told him that it was still illegal at the Federal Level, and since the school system received Federal Dollars, they had to dismiss him.............

That's what a neighbor did, then gave my ex the plants just before a hard freeze.

That was late 60s or so.

Now he does what I do, he goes to a store and buys it legally.

It's better cannabis than that stuff was.

But that's how you hid the pot in your garden. Plus "Some guy was selling these tomato plants. I was wondering shy some of them didn't produce any tomatoes," gets you off the hook if the cops get nosy.
