Memorial Day
This Monday is Memorial Day; a day to remember the countless thousands of Americans who died to give us our freedoms.
We can go out to public celebrations, or we can sit quietly at home, being thankful.
But tens of millions of our fellow citizens, whether they are aware of it or not, are prepared to cast votes to give away our freedoms. Whether it's through ignorance, or because they think it benefits them personally, or through hatred of other/different human beings, they have no right to celebrate Memorial Day. Their "Dear Leader" has spit on our military, our veterans, and on Gold Star Families. And in so doing, he has spit on the freedoms we all enjoy and that he want's to take from us.
Let's all celebrate Memorial Day in our own way. And anyone who displays MAGA junk, or flies an upside down American flag, should be spurned as enemies of our freedoms and of our democracy.
