A yearly reminder at how much of a POS that Clarence Thomas is

Me last year: https://www.democraticunderground.com/100217987971

Me this year:

I'm reading his [concurrence] in the [South Carolina] redistricting case, [Alexander v. South Carolina Conference of the NAACP], and...

...and [Republicans] wants to appoint more people like Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court. I imagine [they] would appoint people like Clarence Thomas up and down the judiciary.

I'm going for a walk.

Clarence Thomas fucking loves quoting and citing himself.

2. It is why it is so important to make sure dems have majority in the senate and all branches of government

If the repugs get in I will bet they will get rid of the filibuster and expand the court with 4 more Alito/Thomas types on (before the dems can) and then the country is totally screwed. Election is number one fight that all must get involved.

3. This is what's great about Biden filling so many judicial vacancies

Making the most of having the control to do so while we have it.

It's possible Biden gets re-elected but we lose the senate, so I'm happy they're acting fast now. And if Donnie wins or coups and gets the senate as well, at least there will be few vacancies for him to fill.

That said, if Donnie gets back in the Oval Office, we're screwed anyway...
