Tell me what this is

I was over behind Globe life field baseball stadium today and this walked across in front of me and went under a bridge and on down the creek.
I got a good look at it as it was about 40 feet in front of me and it had no hair at all, I ran over to the bridge and got a couple of pictures from a distance.
It's blurry but you can see it, is it a coyote with the mange possibly ?

The one in the greenery is obviously Bigfoot and the little one in the foreground is his dog. Hermit-The-Prog May 2024 #2

Maybe they can set up something like a cattle rub with some treatment on it. Hermit-The-Prog May 2024 #15

as if it didn't want me to see where it was going into the brush at.
It finally did turn up into the brush on the right.

I'd heard of the Chupacabra legend and saw a few pseudo science things about it on tv a long time ago. But I didn't know anyone had realized the Chupacabra was actually a mangey Coyote.
DU is fantastic, I learn something new here every day.

Her face suddenly started to lose fur. The Vet took a skin scrape and verified it was mange, caused by (IIRC) mites. It didn't seem to bother her at all - no itching or rubbing.

Don't know how to convince a coyote to rub its back and sides on something like that, though.
Cattle do it because it feels good. A coyote should be at least as clever as a cow.
