Pecker said the Trump Tower meeting with Trump and Cohen lasted 20 to 25 minutes and ended with a verbal agreement.

“It wasn’t put into writing, it was just an agreement among friends,” he testified.

Pecker told jurors how he instructed a top National Enquirer editor to bring stories about Trump directly to him so he could vet them with Cohen. Pecker said that he told the editor that the agreement had to be “highly, highly confidential.”

“I told him that we were going to try to help the campaign, and to do that, we want to keep this as quiet as possible,” Pecker said.

Pecker told him to notify the west and east coast bureau chiefs of the National Enquirer about the deal.

“I said that any, any stories that are out there that’s commenting about Donald Trump, that’s commenting about his family, that’s commenting about the election - whatever they might be - I want you to vet the stories, I want you to bring them to me,” Pecker said.

they are discussing the part of the trial testimony that relates to the hush money payment being a felony. My guess is that they think Trump is guilty of the payment to Daniels, but are deciding if it's a felony or misdemeanor. The use of Pecker and his magazine to slant news in Trump's favor and kill negative stories is what makes it a felony.
