yesterday as the news broke (first read it here!)... and intensely happy to be back today to continue to enjoy the feeling of relief. To share it with all my friends here on DU... that's the icing on the cake!!!!!

Ya'll had me feeling so good yesterday, I agreed to foster a part pitbull who thinks she's a lap dog for a couple of months for a guy who's rent got raised too high for him. He's getting kicked out of his house, off to his father's house for now... but no dogs allowed.

I have a part piti, myself. Two years younger than the foster dog. They'll do a meet and greet this Saturday to see if they're compatible. The foster dog leaves cats a wide berth... he's really scared of them... which will help ease the pain on my 9 cats in this house!

Anyone want to come celebrate with us at our Zoo?! (LOL)

broken my leg AND cracked two of my ribs! Of course, I'm down to 88 pounds right now. Lexy (my pup) weighs over 100 lbs. I'm desperately looking for a decent trainer that will work with me on $$$ since I'm just on SS. I've actually made good headway in her training, but I know there are things she's just not getting, or not getting that it's important. There are times I look in her eyes when I tell her something, and I SWEAR she's thinking back at me, "Yeah, Mom... tell me another one!" (LOL)
