But one thing that concerns me is that so many people in the fascist party have stashes of semi-automatic weapons and magazines. Not to mention homemade bombs. Most Dems who have guns are not armed so extensively.

I would not count on armed forces to defeat the fascists, at least not quickly. Besides the fact that there are members of the military and of law enforcement who are in the fascist camp, their fighting style will be hit and run guerrilla tactics. Fighting them will need to include infiltration and snipers positioned near likely targets.

We can win if it gets physically violent, but we need to be prepared for what kind of fighting it would be.

The bulk of Trump's supporters are too old. Indeed, their outrage and umbrage are the only things offering them a semblance of cardiovascular exercise.

Trump's younger minions are too easily distracted. They will gather for the riot pre-planning meetings hoping to meet girls. Then they will decide that the average Trump-supporting female isn't attractive enough to meet their incel standards.

Despite the dismissive humor of what I've written above, I don't think we should really dismiss all these threats. The concerns are real, but we have to keep things in perspective while being prepared.

Many people who sorta kinda liked him before because they enjoyed the way he bashed people and things that they sorta kinda feared are more than sorta kind sick of him. He's exhausting and most people need to put their energy into getting through their everyday lives. Not everybody has the disposable income to buy guns or the free time to attend riots and/or insurrections. They have work and family and household chores. Then they want to sit back with a beer and just yell at the TV.
