He is well respected and followed.

Even I watch him when he talks about college football.
He does a great job.

I am shocked in a good way.
To see him write this.
He has never talked about politics before that I know of.

He has a big male sports fan following.
He is influential.

ETA Reading up on Cowherd he was a GOPer.

not a screamer and takes a more intellectual approach to his takes on sports. I could see him influencing some of his followers.

Not really political but this message is right on time. He has quite a large viewship.

He is a sports commentator with his own TV show.

I would say he is influential with many males.

I hope they take what he says to heart.

his personal lawyer, his chief strategist, his National Security Adviser, his Trade advisor, his foreign policy advisor, his fixer, his company CEO are all felons.

It's a cabal of felons.

People can't agree on anything but 0-34? Even the New York Mets would be impressed by that batting slump.

Mr. Cowherd perfectly said.

Sports talk radio host Colin Cowherd, who predicted a “red wave” at the 2022 midterms and accused Democrats of maliciously keeping children out of school during the pandemic, no longer believes former President Donald Trump is running a cogent campaign.

Cowherd, whose nationally syndicated radio show is simulcast on Fox Sports 1, declared as much after Trump was convicted Thursday of 34 felonies in a historic verdict.

The tale it tells is that someone who predicts red waves and imputes maliciousness where there is none can have the scales fall off his eyes and see much more clearly. When that happens, they turn on tRump.

It's not going the other way. There are no commentators giving up on Biden and switching to tRump.

This is the way to chip away at the edges of maga-dom and helping wobbly middle voters joining the cult, even for one day (Nov 5). Keep pointing out that what they see with their own eyes in their own lives does not match RepubliCONNER and tRump rhetoric. Keep pointing out that their sources constantly lead them astray such that they are repeatedly surprised by events.

"The trial has no merit, the defence is doing an excellent job, tRump will walk." Then "O for 34". Oops. Then they revert to the ever-present all-powerful bogeyman: The Deep State bought the judge and the jury and the prosecutors and .... Soros (the stand-in Jew they invoke when they are carefully avoiding exposing their anti-Jewish racism).

Yet nobody outs the Deep State. Not even in books published after they die or when they have terminal cancer and nothing left to lose.

Although (unlike what the poster in the excerpt says) I’ve never considered Cowheard MAGA. He’s always seemed more middle of the road to me. I’ve heard him espouse opinions favoring both sides on various issues. I’m glad he’s speaking out now in favor of sanity!

42nd street is now a tourist magnet. It was crime filled, seedy X-rated theaters, prostitution out in the open. Giuliani’s claim to fame is that he cleaned up NY with his Broken Windows racist policy. The truth is more complex. Bill Clinton became president. The economy improved. Less crime when the economy is better. Trump’s heyday was around this time. He knows it’s a damn lie when he says crime is the worst it’s ever been.
I’m happy Cowherd is speaking out.

All this stuff is really good to have. Especially if YOU are doing any writing about the last mind-bending week - where we saw an actual living former President charged, prosecuted, and FOUND GUILTY of 34 FELONIES! I STILL have trouble believing that bastard actually FAILED to slither away yet again, from having to face actual consequences, for once!

Sure works for me!!!
