This 2024 election is the Retrumplicans "kill-shot". It's their silver bullet, wooden stake through the heart, Photon Torpedoes into the ray protected particle vent and underwater rifle shot into a SCUBA tank in a killer sharks mouth, all rolled into one.

The "Unified Reich" has been methodically and relentlessly working to this point since Roosevelt defeated Hoover. They are NOT going to give up their nefarious plans for some quaint ideal like the "rule of law".

They know that they either seize power NOW, or face the fate of the Whigs.

The demographics of the country are against them. The young people want nothing to do with them. The majority of women (those opposed to a crotch grabbing moron) are done with them.

Hell, in 32 years they have won the popular vote for president ONCE!...ONCE!!!!!

Oh! And that ONE TIME was after the worst terrorist attack on Americans in our entire history happened, on their watch!

They only have the limited power they have now due to meticulous gerrymandering, voter suppression, and some arcane, asinine system that says the 600K people in Wyoming get the same Senate representation that 40 million Californians receive.

I used to Google "Trump" multiple times a day to read his tweets and other things.
I have virtually never Googled "Biden".
In some cases, that is why people voted for Biden, they didn't want all that Drama, that chaos that caused people to constantly watch what the bad guy was going to say next. (I wish Biden did have daily entertaining quotes to read, I think it would help get him elected)
The press coverage is not tied directly to how many would vote for one as compared to the other.

Don't blame the "press", blame human nature.
And instead of wishing for only "news" realize that we are presented with things that happen or could happen or didn't happen.

This entire post, profanity and all, needs to be seen by everyone, not just on DU. This post is a thing of beauty.

I usually watch CBS Sunday Morning when I'm having my coffee, but this morning when Jane Pauley, in the lead in of today's show said, "And Ted Kopple will be talking with Trump supporters", I thought I'd blow a gasket and I switched the station immediately. All I could think of was, "well, here we go again, giving those fascist/racist imbeciles air time". I have had it up to here with the press pandering to those people.
