US Congressman Jim Banks (R) wants answers from WNBA for Chennedy Carter foul on Caitlin Clark

Indiana U.S. Representative Jim Banks is calling on WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert to take action to protect Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark.

In a June 4 letter to Engelbert, Banks referenced Clark's ability to increase viewership and attendance this season. The news of Banks' letter to Engelbert was first reported by Outkick.

"Unfortunately, since joining the WNBA, Clark's exceptionalism has been met with resentment and repeated attacks from fellow players," Banks wrote.

Banks specifically mentioned the foul on Clark by the Chicago Sky's Chennedy Carter, which was later upgraded to Flagrant 1. Carter shoulder-checked Clark as the Fever rookie was waiting for an inbound pass. Clark fell to the ground, and it was originally called an away-from-ball foul.

"During the Fever’s win over the Chicago Sky on Saturday, Chennedy Carter went out of her way to knock Clark to the floor while neither player had the ball," said Banks, who is running against Democrat Valerie McCray to fill Mike Braun's U.S. Senate seat. "Further, the excessive attack was visibly cheered on and supported by Carter's teammate Angel Reese."

Whereby Clark is allegedly being victimized in the game. For one there've been reports that Clark did stuff that provoked. what followed anyway. And even if so, what of it? The game sometimes gets heated.

Which is what Reese said when she got knocked to the floor and seriously fouled in a recent game.

Her comments on it? Essentially she said these are the big dogs now, and if u can't take the heat stay out of the fkn kitchen.

But no, certain MAGA fans want to make a frkn federal case out of Clark getting fouled, and do Nazi shit like following Chicago's team to their hotel rooms to harass and confront the players.

Pssys.

Those same racists and misogynists are telling the Sky players to stop complaining about the harassment, using the same "If you can't take the heat..." argument, along with telling them that they "should be grateful to Clark for giving them and their league the attention it never had until she came along." It's sickening.

But the MAGATS do this with everything, from sports to who plays iconic roles in movies - they turn it into a (often hate based) culture war.

For example, when they and traitor fucks like Donald Trump actually CHEERED the US Women's World Cup soccer loss.

CHEERED a US loss!! You sorry mfks.

And unfortunately for Clark, who (like Reese and other star athletes) DESERVES her props,

those who support her for reasons FAR less honourable, bring an odious and venomous element to the sport. Like they do with EVERYTHING.

Which may very well be why the US Women's Basketball Olympic Committee wants no part of it.

We never did hear the reason Pelosi kicked him off the J6 committee.
It would be nice if she let Indiana voters know why.
Because it had to be something awful about him.

She has been on the receiving end of some terrible stuff. I also think the league needs to step in. The foul in question was ridiculous.
