(26,014 posts)Trump likes to stiff people. And forget about that bonus. It's just a lure to suck people in.

(10,635 posts)...so he has to accuse the Democrats of it. Shameful that we have to contend with and put up with this obviously damaged "person."

w/o payment of a dime (and I would give the offered money back to Pres. Biden, I don't need).
Pretty pathetic that everything that tRUMP does, is fake. A fake tan, fake shoes to make him taller, girdles to make him look thinner, fake smile, fake hair, fake everything...added later, w/ more input, fake audiences, fake business expertise, etc., in short, all fake fake fake!

(76,704 posts)He's a fake business person!
He doesn't have the first idea on how businesses work or how to run one.
He inherited a company. That's how he got into the business.
The growth was luck & built on a mountain of debt.
And, if he had sold the company, invested index funds, and nothing else he'd be a real billionaire, owing nobody a dime.
He not just "not a business genius", he's a clueless drone about business.

(26,257 posts)rug over people's eyes on literally everything about him. Fortunately for us, we all know what a true scumbag he is.
And to be truthful, I don't want to see him in his daily f**king press conferences like he did when COVID hit during his first term. I was (and still am) sick and tired of him and his mouth constantly going.

(53,214 posts)Damn!
I'm tired of him as well, but truthfully, we need to have him out there rambling on incoherently on a regular basis. At least until November. The public needs a constant reminder of who and what he is and the fact that he is getting worse all the time. Memories are short and it is easy to forget how truly horrible he is.
The best political ad Dems have is Trump talking.
SWBTATTReg
(26,257 posts)best political ads that we as Democrats have w/ this motormouth. It seems like every day/week, he's sticking his damn foot in his mouth, misquoting or saying an idiotic thing once again. I also think him losing all of his former cabinet members from his prior administration (hire only the best people) helps us too, when people hear of their nonstop stories on how incompetent he really is.
They tried sticking the 'senile' tag on Pres. Biden and it hasn't worked one bit. And they tried other tricks too, to try and nail Pres. Biden but Pres. Biden is tough and the skillset that Pres. Biden brings to the table speaks of his long-established history of being in government, being competent, getting things done. Proof of his competence that we need in government. And of course, the incompetent GOP boobs in Congress aren't helping tRUMP either. They are just as incompetent too. No wonder so many of them are leaving Congress (GOP members). tRUMP has destroyed the GOP and the GOP has let him do it.
And, they don't seem to care, the GOP, as a party, they bow down to this moron, despite his total incompetence. Perhaps the voters that tRUMP despises (and he did just that to their faces just a couple of days ago, he stated that he doesn't care about them, he just wants their votes). God, what a slap in the face. I hope that this drove 100s of thousands of them away or at least is making them think a little more about just exactly what did they get themselves into? Pres. Biden to his credit, jumped onto this idiotic remark.

(53,214 posts)He has revealed who and what the republican party really is and in the process probably damaged, if not destroyed, it for a very long time. All the years of family values, patriotism, support our troops, help our allies, oppose tyrants, etc. evaporated overnight.
Turns out they didn't stand for anything, just power and money. Trump is a mirror for them.

Meaning if you wear and outlandish enough t-shirt, or wave a crazy enough sign
well pay you $50 bucks (and of course well tell the press all that support is organic.).

For Trump, originally it was only ever about promoting his brand, so the idea of hiring a crowd was simply what one does. As soon as he got a taste of what MAGA-intoxication could do, it was addictive for him as well. Or as Nicolle says: High on his own supply.
So as long as he can still grift some money, he will always use paid actors (where do you think they get Blacks for Trump ? ) to chum the waters, swell the crowd.

(2,332 posts)It wasn't all about enhancing his brand. That was part of it, sure, but even he is smart enough to know that the enhancement comes from winning, not merely running.
Besides, he had tried to run several times in the past. You don't keep trying for the office if you don't want it for reasons far beyond a mere brand. You only do it when you want it for your ego and your lust for power and control, with every fiber of your being

(114,615 posts)and they were paid to come to the theaters and music halls to applaud loudly, laugh heartily, and cheer for encores. Good artists didn't need them. Hacks did.
This is just a long standing tradition for no talent bums to make themselves look better than they are.
Sometimes it even works.
It's very telling that TFG has to hire one in addition to his usual collection of loudmouthed cheerleaders who tell the crowd what slogan to chant and when. I suppose the claque is there because he found the overheated and dehydrated crowd in Phoenix a little too low energy to suit his ego.

(53,179 posts)These Craigslist ads have been going around for years.
My sites were picked up by Trump supporters all the time. I think Trump is in the White House because of me. His followers dont fact-check anything theyll post everything, believe anything. His campaign manager posted my story about a protester getting paid $3,500 as fact. Like, I made that up. I posted a fake ad on Craigslist, he told The Washington Post.
