2. I live just outside NYC. I've been hesitating to put on

my new "Roevember is coming" bumper sticker. You've inspired me. It goes on today.

(My last bumper sticker was a snake coiled in the shape of a uterus that said, "Don't tread on me." It was ineffective bc no republiQans know what a uterus looks like. They all thought it was a Gadson flag with a misprint. )

... was named a long time ago by Utne Reader the most progressive city in the United States, people who used to adorn their cars with all kinds of stickers no longer do so (we're a blue oasis in very red upstate NY, Finger Lakes region, Southern Tier). I bought a small metal American flag a year or so ago that is glued well to my rear lift area on my RAV 4. That is all I'll have now, for I travel by car a lot through all kinds of back areas. I think of it as my protection as well to reinforce the fact I AM an American who wants our nation to finally progress into the 21st century.

So I put a Resist bumper sticker on. Magats are too stupid to know what that means but hopefully Dems get it. My husband and sister knew immediately what I was saying with that sign. My moderate Dem daughter just rolled her eyes.
