4. Trump may want to debate because he thinks he's smarter than anyone else, but his handlers know better.

His campaign staff sees his mental decline up close. I cannot imagine that they think this debate is a good idea. But will Trump listen to them or just ignore them?

I don’t think he would fake an illness because he has to appear strong and invincible in his mind, but he’ll make up an excuse about fairness if he decides to skip the debate.
