Nine years ago today, a hate fueled white supremacist terrorist gunned down 9 precious souls who had welcomed him to Mother Emanuel Church and embraced him in prayer.

We must honor them with action to Disarm Hate and close the "Charleston Loophole" that enabled this massacre.

Every day in our country, the epidemic of gun violence continues to devastate communities. Congress has a duty to protect our communities, and Democrats are determined to deliver the progress and safety that the American people demand. Building on the progress that the survivor community fought for, we can end America's gun violence epidemic once and for all.

We are not going away until the job is done. -NP
