I can be a gruff old man. I am near 80. As I sit here watching Lauren Miller's testimony on O'Donnell's hour . . . .

. . . . I am weeping for her, her family, and all the women of Texas who, as she says no longer own their own pregnancies, the state does.

Roe IS still on the ballot. We cannot allow these right wing MOTHERFUCKERS to get away with this.

...but I've been sitting here fighting tears and rage. How sick do you have to be to put another human through something like this?

"How dead do we have to be?" That's the question all these pious busybodies should have to answer.

Rafael Cruz's family get that abortion? you can bet your life it would happen asap. These people are not human, I have no words to describe them, my hate runneth over, I am red hot with revulsion.
I hope I live long enough to see their end and their suffering and death.

NO one should have to go through what she was forced to do. And her referencing the bright skies of Colorado when she arrived vs. the dark one upon arriving back home was great and added to her point.

... this year. Though all three (Pres, Senate, House) are nominally close to even, Rs are fighting the Roe headwinds and fighting tRump. He doesn't give a fig about them, it's all about him. Many Rs don't even realize yet they are fighting the felon, but if they step out of ass-licking fealty the tRumps (his orangeness and Lara) will cut them off in an instant. They have been explicit about it.

So plan for success. If there is a trifecta, it must be used to protect women.

So, absolutely, Roe is still on the ballot.

this horrendous ordeal. I went on an anti-man rant for an hour (seriously). My neighbors must be aware of my anger since the windows were open...oh well. Righteous anger is OK in my book.

As far as I'm concerned, the women who are in league with them are even worse. And make no mistake, there are plenty of them.

Women like Marsha Blackburn and Nancy Mace and their equivalents in state legislatures are even more disgusting than the men, imo, because they're traitors to their own sex, willing to put other women through unmitigated hell for political gain. They are truly evil.

...given how extreme the crack down on reproductive rights has become in Republican-controlled states that have banned abortion. It's tyrannical. If Republicans were to achieve a trifecta (presidency, both chambers of U.S. Congress, and SCOTUS), women would be done. And then there's the rightwing agenda to get rid of no-fault divorce, which would have the effect of trapping women in abusive marriages as was the case pre-no-fault divorces. Women who vote Republican are traitors of their own sex, also.

It was a nightmare for her. And the nightmare for us (maybe) is that it seems like there are more voters that don't know about this than do.

They DESPISE women and girls...but I have never been able to completely comprehend WHY. For a political party that shamelessly brands itself as "pro-life", they are anything but. They are power-greedy SADISTS!!!
