Remember when cheato whined that he couldn't get out on the campaign trail (of course that was a lie) because he had to be in court?
Well now he's on the trail, and he's lost eleven points with independents according to the new FAUX poll, and Biden is ahead in a head to head match. The FAUX poll by the way is well regarded in the industry and is separate from FAUX news.
The more people see you, cheato, the more they hate you! I hope he shows more of that "winning" personality in the debates.

If anything polls just suppresses voting. But not this year.

(11,780 posts)I know his handlers do stuff to make the crowds look big but was struck me was the hysterical level of applause. I had a friend awhile ago who was on The Price is Right. They always had a studio audience. He said theyd bring in a new crowd of tourists every day and someone would talk to them and wave a wad of hundred dollar bills and say whoever applauded the loudest would be paid (I dont know how much). So theyd run that before each session. Sounds like something the trump handlers would copy.

(13,003 posts)The Republicans get Trump thrown out immediately, after the Republican Convention, due to a mental disorder, and convince the USSC to allow them to appoint another candidate at the last minute......Wouldn't that make for a perfect "October Surprise"

(3,832 posts)The Republican Party can change horses on their own.
Thomas Eagleton was replaced as the VP nominee in 1972 when his prior mental illness (depression) was exposed.
DENVERPOPS
(13,003 posts)you are saying, that if Trump wins the Republican Presidential Nomination, he can be replaced up to the last minute before the election by the Republican Party ??????????????????
I wasn't talking about a VP candidate being replaced....................
If anyone brings suit for their skulduggery, it would immediately be jumped to the USSC it seems to me......This Republican rigged USSC seems to usurp any and all final authority on anything they damn well please.......
AND, after the USSC intervened in 2000, they NOW have set a precedent they can butt into anything they want to butt into.
Constitutional Authorities across the entire country, in 2000, said the USSC HAD NO LEGAL OR CONSTITUTIONAL STANDING OR RIGHT to interject themselves in the Florida STATE election protocols when they literally "threw" THAT Presidential election.......
I am not an attorney, but it would be interesting for some attorney, knowledgeable in these matters, to weigh in on this matter......

Trump said he wants to bring the federal corporate tax rate down from 21% to 20% if he were to become president, according to a person familiar with his remarks.
Trump also mentioned to the CEOs a recent proposal he rolled out in Nevada, to eliminate taxes on worker tips, said people who were in the room. Trump then told the CEOs a story about how excited tipped workers were about his proposal, prompting laughter from the corporate leaders, according to multiple people.

Trump Is Now Openly Threatening CEOs Who Dont Support Him
June 18, 2024
Donald Trump is taking aim at business leaders, saying they should be fired if they dont support him.
In two long Truth Social posts on Tuesday quoting a Wall Street Journal article, Trump said Business Executives and Shareholder Representatives should be 100% behind Donald Trump! Anybody thats not should be FIRED for incompetence!
Lately, Trump has attempted to line up the CEO and executive crowd behind him, but this is the first time he seems to have openly threatened them. Last week, he met with at least 80 CEOs, promising tax cuts and scaled-back business regulations if hes elected president. Accounts of that meeting did not have the convicted felon and former president coming off well, with Trump reportedly rambling all over the place on different topics.

Yeah, that should work wonders.

(25,497 posts)That's our cheato.
I was wondering when we were going to get an article telling us how he comes off to these CEOs.
I've known my share of them, having been a speechwriter for several, and I can't see them taking this sort of behavior seriously.
I know there have been stories that greedmeisters like Jamie Diamond are on board with him and supposedly they donated $50 million to his CEO fundraiser, but if that's the case, where is the money? Why is he too poor to hold rallies in venues like he has in the past. Now he's pulling publicity stunts like renting Baptist churches and open-air spots at the Jersey shore. Where's the money?

It's getting so that every time he opens his mouth, it's only to change feet. And every time he changes feet, he loses potential voters.
He'll always have a hardcore cult of people who have nothing else. They will continue to dwindle.
