A car Latimer was driving collided with another at the Wilmot Road-Grand Boulevard intersection on July 21, 2017, according to a lawsuit filed last week in New York State Supreme Court.
The driver of the other car, Mallesha Malcolm, is seeking unspecified damages. In the suit, attorney Kevin Johnson said Malcolm sustained severe and permanent personal injuries that he blames on Latimer failing to yield to a traffic control device and other negligence. The car struck a fixed object and a divider, the suit said.
...
Latimer, then a state senator running for county executive, was driving a car owned by staffer Andrew Genna, whos now an aide to Latimer. Genna is also named as a defendant in the suit.
At the time of the accident, Latimer was dealing with registration issues regarding his own car, a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. Latimer wasn't able to register the car due to a number of unpaid parking tickets in the area, although he drove it with suspended registration.

Right before an election for which you have a clear favorite.
And not mentioning the age of the article nor the disposition of the case. Nice.
Well, I do appreciate transparency.🙂

(19,382 posts)3. People get in car accidents everyday
And are sued everyday by any one of those law firms that show commercial after commercial every hour on tv.
