I'll also be reading/responding in the threads here with those who are watching. Wouldn't miss it, no sir.

59. It's too important not to watch. The public has to witness the debate to see how the right spins it later.

Discouraging people from watching leaves them vulnerable to middle man interpretations.

Watching it can also affect the vote turnout in our favor. There will be "who won" polls afterward, and we need to see how fair the polling questions were.

Just my opinion.

I love Joe, but I can't stomach the Slobfather in any way, shape or form, even on my TV. I'll be looking for a transcript or something.

I'm not particularly interested in feeling my blood pressure rise with all the lies and innuendos that will be tossed Biden's way. But I trust that Biden's got this. I mean, he's been in politics since forever. While trump is something to be ignored as much as possible, I know Biden will have the debate under his belt from the first moment. I'd be happy to just catch the highlights here on DU. Hubby, however, may have other plans.

Next day, I'll watch the recording. When the Moderators or Joe are onscreen I'll watch, but will fast forward when Dump is on - the same as I do when the toe fungus or bent carrot comercials come on.

I will watch The Lincoln Project's Breakdown coverage on YouTube with Rick Wilson and Tara Setmayer. Both are frequent MSNBC panelists and I watch them every Thursday night online. I am looking forward to their live coverage this coming Thursday - debate night!! The last time they had a regularly scheduled Thursday night show that was so perfectly timed was May 30th...when the 34 guilty verdicts came down!! 🍿

It’s going to be important for Biden to put to rest the “too old” notion and this is a chance to do it. And Trump is probably going to say some crazy shit.

TFGs visage and voice can be triggering even as medicated and therapied up as I am...but I can take it when delivered in humor...so I'll wait for Jon Stewart or Daisy Lydick to tell me what happened.

I get my news from late night comedians because a satirical format is the only way I can keep up with current events. My Md isn't going to increase my clonazapam prescription again though I'm thinking of asking him about an anti depressant booster of some sort. My blood pressure is amazingly ok, I exercise and eat right. I do have to take beta blockers sometime when the panic becomes unbearable and the benzos calm the mind but the hands still shake and sweat and the heart races. This all began with some double traumas in my life around the turn of the century and then again a few years ago. In both cases the double whammy personal tragedies coincided with the Bush and then TFG administrations.

When he was stalking HRC around the stage that time I had to turn it off or risk a major panic attack.

In part to counter the BS that the media will spin to make it seem like TSF was calm and rational during the debate. I can hear it now…’Donald Trump admirably defended himself against the ruthless onslaught of allegations leveled by a cranky Joe Biden, who stumbled badly during the debate.’

I can't watch Trump spouting nonsense for more than a couple of minutes at a time before I want to watch almost anything else. That accordion thing he does with his teeny tiny T-rex hands is super-weird to me, too, and really distracting.

I’m a little pathological about needing to know what’s going on, in real time. And I love a spectacle, though I’m embarrassed that this is at that level.

And I don’t want anyone else telling me what happened. Context is so important, and the undertones fascinate me as much as the obvious acts. So yes, I’m there.

Media needs a super bowl competition....they will make it happen regardless of what we will actually wittiness.

His doctor uses the anterior method, where he goes in from the front, rather than the back. That way, he's not cutting through so much muscle. So, the surgery can be outpatient and the recovery time is minimized.

He had the first hip done that way 4 years ago. Walked out of the surgery center on crutches, experienced little pain and didn't need PT or rehab. We're hoping for the same result this time.
