All cop-involved cases should be dismissed.

When cops are involved in a crime, there is no way to have a fair trial. We should dismiss charges against anyone accused of a crime when cops are directly involved. Back in my younger days, I attended a couple cop "parties." They were more like Roman orgies with drugs and alcohol. This is where I discovered that cops had access to free drugs. Back then, it was cannabis and cocaine. God knows what's involved now.

He claimed that he had handled fentanyl and absorbed it thru his skin. I’ve always thought these cases where some public servant supposedly ODed by touching the stuff were BS. To their credit the police dept pursued it and found he was stealing drugs taken as evidence. It made me wonder how wide spread this is.

3. They shouldn't. It's the ordinary citizens who get caught up.

When a bunch of cops do some crime, they often get charges filed against non-cops to divert attention and avoid responsibility. Also, they sometimes throw other cops under the bus if they consider them disloyal.
