I think I remember reading this on DU back in 2020 or thereabouts....

They probably won't ever get divorced because she's waiting for him to croak.

Meanwhile she's got all the money she needs, and Chump set up the trust fund for Barron that she wanted. Once Chump croaks (or goes to prison?) there won't be much left in the kitty for all the heirs to get a share. So I think Melania was smart to do this while she was in the catbird seat. (He needed her to show up for certain campaign events etc. back in 2020.)

I don't think Chump has much leverage over his "wife" any longer. She can do what she wants. And clearly she doesn't want to be around him.

Besides, my theory is that Melania and Ivanka are the ones who helped him out of his last narcissistic collapse, probably after he was unceremoniously evicted from "his" White House. He will never forgive either one for that.

Melania will likely see Barron through college, then divorce him and go back to Europe. She sturning 50, and that means she no longer gives a glying fuck what he thinks about anything.
