Did the Republicans have another "secret" meeting ??

As they did when President Obama was elected for his first term?

As we now know, they met behind closed doors and decided that they would block everything the President proposed.

John Boehner said he was "disappointed" with the President's proposal. "Disappointed"? This is the same word that Senators Ayotte, McCain, and Graham used in voicing their opposition to Susan Rice as a possible nominee for Secretary of State, even though she has not been named as an official nominee for that position.

But, from the general appearance, it looks as if the Republicans have doubled down on their opposition to anything the President or the Democrats might propose? Not only will they oppose all his legislation, but they will also oppose all his nominees for the Departments of his Cabinet, unless it is someone they support, such as John Kerry?

This is what the game looks like to me.

the problem is likely to be that there were MANY such meetings

and no r actually knows which meeting was the one that counts.
